Richard Chivers
A 2006 Graduate from Brighton University, with a BA Honours degree in photography,
Richard Chivers won the 2004 NLP photography competition with a selection of perceptive Suburban portraits, a series of Brief Encounters that “for me create the essence of Brighton”.
He later produced a further two studies, “Transitions”- looking at spaces created by sensor activated security lights and fear of the unknown; and “Excursions” looking at the relationship between buildings and the layers of history of the landscape. He has since exhibited at leading photography brand Calumet flagship stores and has numerous commercial clients.
