Kevin Sare
Kevin Sare is a Brighton based photographer concentrating on photo-journalism. His projects have a unique quality and incredibly powerful language. Taking some inspiration from the work and techniques of Gary Winogrand and Lee Friedlander, Kevin has developed the ability to absorb much of the subject he is photographing and present it to the viewer in a way that can be very natural and at the same time disquieting. His images attempt to promote greater understanding of the subject.
We have showcased two of his projects here, one documenting a close-knit group of travellers in Dorset and on the outskirts of Brighton, the second is from his work with a group of elderly people. Please read more on Kevins external site.
